Hong Kong has mild climate. The temperature is typically between 10 to 18 degree centigrade in winter. A lot of campers will not use down sleeping bags. The Escape Bivvy is the perfect companion to a '3 season' sleeping bag most people use here when a lightweight 'synthetic' bag is not quite warm enough.

The problem with sleeping in a space blanket is the moisture it traps inside making you damp. This is a breathable bag that zips up and really allows you to stay warm and dry. Highly recommend.

I like the product but hate that they send you request for reviews

An excellent light weight "sleeping bag" for emergency use.

Plus: it stays dry inside & lets condensation out, while still protecting against rain. This is important for a bivouac bag. Minus: the 24" zipper is a little short, so with an obsessive effort, I retrofitted a 36" zipper, which is alot more convenient, and doesn't add that much to the pack volume. For reference, I'm 5'10" & 200 lbs, and the bag is snug, but quite useable. As others have mentioned, this is not a sleeping bag, per se, but rain & wind protection that should add about 10°F extra to whatever clothing /sleeping bag you place inside it.
