Finally - a universal remote that is truly universal
Good universal remote control. The unit has a substantial feel to it. I like the motion-detected backlight activation. I prefer this remote's monochrome display screen to the 650's odd red display.The online setup is fairly intuitive, but flexible as well. This is the only universal remote I found that works with my Channel Master Stream+ DVR. It takes only one or two button presses to initiate an "Activity." It will turn on the appropriate devices and even get you to the right menu or channel. It's great to have the settings saved online. It this remote fails or if I upgrade, I can transfer the settings to the new device. Update I've seen reviews complaining about battery usage. You can make them last longer by turning off the tilt sensor and setting the "glow" to its lowest setting in the MyHarmony app. You can also turn off the annoying Assistant in the app. I purchased a second remote, the 650. I used the COPY function to initialize it. All of the devices and activities transferred perfectly. It is documented by Logitech, but I was appalled that no screen or button customization came through. My Watch Netflix activity work won't for me because it lacks a back/return button, which I had to customize. (Come on, Logitech, just copy EVERYTHING from one remote to the next. Logitech Harmony 600
I ordered this to replace our original Logitech Harmony 600 that had some worn out buttons. It was a breeze to transfer all of our settings from Logitech's website. I was thrilled to find one in a new unopened package. Great remote for our TV/sound system.
