A bargain for what you get. 5 TB external hard drive with movies.

A 5 TB drive is at least going to run you 115-as high as 200$. you get the physical drive...obviously and nearly 5000 movies. so you are essentially getting 5000 good quality movies for 130$ and they can fit in your pocket and go anywhere with you! Also I've bought drive of all sizes and the vast majority of the time they are filled about 60% of capacity. this drive is pretty much filled to the max. if you dont like this drive with movies something is wrong with you. I used to buy peoples actual DVD collections and they were about $1-1.50 a DVD so about 750 movies were about $1000 bucks. they took up so much space after I bought so many collections my office was way way way overstocked with physical DVD's. I then bought cases that fit 800 DVD's per case and now got 14 of those. we are in the process of relocating and I am just about ready to throw them out even in the cases because they take too much space. Netflix and Amazon are fine. Belong to both but having drives of all these movies is killer good! These drives are terrific!

    Seagate USB 3.0 - 5 TB

I much prefer the other Seagate 5 TB drive with a power input connector that is accompanied by a plug in power source. Those drives can be plugged into a USB strip to accommodate 6-8 drives. This drive, however, has to be plugged directly into the PC because it has no power input. It draws its power from the main PC unit and there are a limited number of input jacks for a drive like this one. I would never have purchased it had I been aware of how it draws its power.

  • Works great and has lots of space

I bought this for my husband to use to backup his laptop. It doesn't work in every USB slot on his machine. It seems to only work in one - though his computer is old and I wonder if the other USB slots are at fault rather than the external hard drive. It's setup for a 3.0 USB slot which he only has 2.0. It's 5 inches by 6 and 3/4 inches in size and about 1-1/2 inches thick and states that it works with Windows 7, 8, and 10. My husband's laptop has Windows 7 and it works great. I'm planning on getting one for me so of course I recommend it.

  • Awesome

I have had this for a few days now and I love it! It is a seagate brand so you know you're getting a sturdy piece of hardware. It is very affordable for the huge amount of storage ( using for xbox) and it has a USB hook up so easy to install. Only negative about it is that it needs its own power adaptor which it comes with out of the box. Product is affordable, sturdy, and compact (not to big). MUST BUY - if you need strophe for anything! Also shipped very quickly, like 2-3 days for me.

  • Seagate

My son is very satisfied with the Seagate Expansion 5TB External USB 3.0 Hard Drive. He is a hard core gamer & has many games downloaded to his Xbox One. This external hard drive has been a BIG help, he can download many more games. I highly recommend this external hard drive!

  • Great value!

Not a lot to say here beyond the obvious... this is the Seagate Expansion STEB5000100 external USB 3.0 hard drive. Been running this drive continuously for approx a month at the time I am writing this, and so far operation has been flawless. Drive has been monitored with Acronis Drive Monitor, and so far everything is operating within spec. Where this drive really stands out is bang for the buck... this drive is running about $.028 per GB of storage which is currently amongst the best prices I am seeing. If this drive holds up as well as my other Seagate drives have over the long term, this will represent a fantastic value.

  • Simple big storage

It's a pretty simple thing: plug in power, plug in USB and start using it. If you're using Windows, it should be really easy since it's compatible out of the box (i.e. it's formatted NTFS which is native to windows.) Though it's quiet, I can hear the fan when its on my desk. I've only had it for a week so I can't say much about reliability yet. I didn't try a Mac, so no comment there. If you're using a linux system, when you mount it you'll find that you can read it but not write until you install fuse and ntfs-3g: - apt-get install fuse ntfs-3g - mount -t ntfs-3g dev mountpoint Or you could reformat it to ext4. Support is really thin. The only supporting document at Seagate for this drive is a PDF of the "Quick Start" brochure included in the box. There's a FAQ containing obvious answers to shallow questions.

  • SOHO Dual Band Cell phone booster

Got booster in and put antenna up about 15ft. Installed unit inside house and mounted on office wall. Immediately noticed a big difference in the number of bars on cell phone. So far it's working great and will help with getting service and dropping of calls. We live in a rural area so this is really great for our use. Rate it an A+.

  • Lightweight and compact

So far very happy with it. I have an older model and somehow I lost the electric cord and transformer, so I purchased this from same manufacturer just so I could access the data from the older drive. Worked fine, started using the new one, so far very happy with it.
