I had the at&t avail years ago which is a slightly older slightly smaller version of this. When my old terrible pay as you go "tablet" broke I found out I could get the avail for like $15- I kind of loved it, but it's so small it's kind of hard to type, the keyboard hardly fits on the screen and it's alittle buggy. This phone, the compel is SLIGHTLY larger, and I am still really into the compact size. It runs on a slightly newer version of android, and over all seems less buggy so far. These phones are old and not very good at the internet, but in a pinch I could use it- I was glad to see it has some emoji's but not all of them, and for some reason I'm unable to send picture, I wonder if I need a data plan. The biggest thing is it keeps dropping out of reception randomly- I don't remember this being as much of a problem with my avail. For $20 it's sufficient for texting and calling people, and I do like the size.Read full review
