Z97 chipset motherboard
It's a fairly high end z97 chipset motherboard with all the relevant chipset features, the latest PCIe and USB versions/ iterations specific to the cpu/ chipset generation.I keep saying Chipset because the motherboard is governed by the code written for its specific set of microchips and that can function on the central processing unit. If you are buying a motherboard for an 1150 socket intel I7 cpu, it will definitely be able to handle some multi video card, plenty of RAM I just use basic turbo mode overclocking so I dont know how well it handles overclocking.

Good buy for the bucks
Bought mine used - all of the cpu pins were in good shape - has been working flawlessly so far! The led light for the sound wasn't coming on, so I reset the bios (did you know there is a program in the bios that you can turn that led light on or off?) - after resetting bios, light came on and everything is working fine! Fast board, even in Windows 10!
