  • Rick Steves is a first rate tour guide!!!!

I will likely not see Scotland, but like so many, have been at least motivated to learn more because of Sam Heughan and Outlander. Ok, AND James McAvoy and Gerard Butler...… The man I got my copy from said this book served him well during his travels, and by the pages, it was obvious he liked the Isle of Skye. I've read through the guide twice, laughing and learning. Rick seems to love what he does, loves Scotland and offers detail within detail on how to best experience the entire country whilst not to annoy your kindly hosts. He's a good friend whisperin' in yer ear. I'd have this book under my pillow at night, under my arm by day - unless you're up against a blustery Munro!!
