Saved $1500!
This product saved us $1500 in dealer full mirror replacement and painting costs. Ridiculous! I purchased an additional $7 blue plastic door frame removal kit. My son and I did the mirror removal, repair and replacement in 2 hrs. I had it out and started and ran into a screw too snug with blue loctite and lost about 40 minutes waiting the small impact drill to arrive to remove it. Working together from a YouTube video and double checking each other finished quickly and functioned better than new. This all metal replacement for a plastic headed factory gear is a godsend. The mirrors on the Hyundai fold in/out every time you get in or out of car. This fit the 2016 just fine. Car manufacturers are more than cheap with their plastic gear. This little cog saved me about $1000 in having to purchase a whole new assembly to replace one broken plastic cog. I'm just sorry that I didn't know about these the last time I had to replace my other wing mirror.
