Outlander. Enjoyable and recommended to those that enjoy period TV.
I have enjoyed all of the first season,although some may disagree due to some explicit sexual scenes. The actors are engaging and great in their parts. Best show on TV right now, I have watched the episodes many times!
This is one of the best shows on TV right now. It's so good that when you rematch the episodes you pick up little things that were are missed. It also makes you actually have to think which is nice in this age every show is just brian mush. Highly like the costumes too, just wish they would have more episodes per season. It seems very short. Even season 2 on,y has 13 episodes total and it appears they will continue to use that format for the rest of the books. I was really into this series until a man on man rape that no matter how far you fast forward you couldn't escape. That disc of the set is ash in my fireplace. Since half my heritage is Scottish, how could I not love this show? Then on top of that, when my mother told me she always wanted a red headed grandchild, how could I not adopt this braw lad into my family? The entire cast was selected absolutely spot-on to perfection for their roles. The love between Claire and Jamie is well served, as portrayed by both of these superb actors. They truly make you believe the story line with the amazing skill and dedication to their chosen craft. Even if they were to remake this series in the future, I would have quite a difficult time believing any other cast could do it justice. The characters were well chosen, and the DVD follows the plot of the book very well. the scenery, costumes, and complex interactions are what you would expect in a feature long movie.
