Good but not Great
Although I truly enjoy this pedal, for the price, it might have been better designed. Here is what I like about it: 1) Sounds really nice 2) Lightweight 3) Simply to use 4) Looks great on-stage Cons: 1) Must use a plug which does not come with it. slightly above middle performance.
First, I primarily play nylon string guitar, gigging with a Ramirez and Takemini mostly, piezo pickups and onboard preamp. I play classical, jazz, american songbook, latin professionally for over 40 years.. On small short gigs I use TC Hall of Fame and Alter Ego pedals in addition to my H9. They are more than adequate, with a wide range of adjustments and ability to fit any room. The Fishman unit combines these pedals into one unit, which is really a great convenience. For most 'noisy' gigs it would be fine. However, it has no where near the comprehensive tones and flexibility as my 3 pedal setup. That being said, it is perfectly adequete for most venues and styles. I find the EQ and phase controls the most useful. It would have been good if they incorporated a simple tuner in it. Overall, good for jazz, classical, straight traditional and country, not a powerhouse for rock styles. Exactly what I've looked for
