Great with some exceptions
I only gave this 4 stars because it was not a bolt-in part in my del Sol with a stock GSR swap. And there was a QC issue. I had to make a small extension (using a piece of aluminum) to attach the intake to the shock tower. Car has no body damage, the bracket welded to the intake was just not in the right place, or it's too short. Also my intake had a dent on the edge / end of the tube. Something which happened at the factory -- nice QC there -- because the intake was well-packed and in an undamaged box. Thankfully I was able to get the tube fixed by a muffler shop for free. My only other issue is unrelated to the intake itself. My stock (D16Z6) fuel hose is rubbing against the intake. You can see the hose stretched across the intake in the one pic. I'll need to make my own fuel hose because the Russel braided fuel hose for EG / DC is too short (641120). Otherwise, it's a great part. Fits right on the OEM GSR intake manifold, which has the throttle body sitting lower than the LS or B16 / ITR. I'm running with this intake, DC sports header, and 2¼" exhaust. Love hearing both VTEC (more noticeable) and the IABs (more subtle).
