40611 epoxy filled , ok, shipping box from pertronix needs bubble wrap, I had to repaint the coil.

Poor warranty
It works fine, pretty much like any coil. The 90 day warranty is horrible and Pertronix WILL NOT stand behind their products if it is 1 day out, so beware. I had one (the oil-filled one) go bad 6 mo. out and they just said too bad. I'll roll the dice with this epoxy filled one and see if that is longer lasting. I do like that they make a 3.0 ohms coil as that can be a bit harder to find.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great 12v coil for old jeeps
Bought this following a 6v to 12v conversion for my 1944 Willys. A sure-fire start every time. Coupled with an electronic ignition module, everything is so much more reliable. I already had a Pertronix 6v coil in the jeep before so I'm good with this manufacturer. Guess I should have taken the sticker off before mounting it ! Not very WW2.
