  • Poor quality and alignment issued.

It seems like BBK long tube headers for Foxbody don't fit like they used to years ago. I have tried four sets of these headers (two 1 3/4 and two 1 5/8) and none of them had the correct alignment to match the BBK h-pipe I have. I have no problem fitting the h-pipe to another Mustang I have with older, but still brand new, BBK long tube headers. I addition to that, the passenger side header doesn't clear the stock bellhousing and the drivers side header flange is pointing towards the transmission so the transmission crossmember will need to be modified. So now I have to modify the bellhousing and the crossmember and make a custom h-pipe. Years ago everything just bolted up with no issues, I'm guessing the jigs that are being used now are out of whack or quality control is non-existent. Also, the collector flange looks like it's 'D' shaped so hopefully they seal. I would recommend to buy the shorty headers and maybe a different brand!
