This is just what I was looking for and it worked great. The production Lincoln Key FOB is especially vulnerable to breakage and to falling apart due to poor quality and deficient design. If you are unlucky enough to have a Lincoln with this FOB please consider a protective case to hold it together and protect it. Also it looks very cool and get lots of attention. Protects the smart key but strap not so secure
Overall, I'm ok with using this fob. Only major issue is that the screw that should hold the leather strip which connects between the fob and other key chains is not tight and can't be secured. Currently, I'm checking the screw and tighten it on a daily basis to ensure the strap is securely holding the fob and the other key chain. If the screw was designed to be tightened and secure, then I would have given a higher rating for this product.

Saved me $159
The key ring portion broke off my fob. It still functioned, but was unable to attach to my key ring. Was looking at a new key fob, which costs $159.00. Saw this aluminum fob case on eBay for $20.00...low and behold, problem solved. The FOB lifesaving shell
To whom it may concern, Ford should do something about their FOBS. Both sets of FOBS broke within 2 months of owning my truck. The top breaks off that attaches to the key ring leaving you with no way to attach the FOB to your key ring. I called a local Ford dealership and was told a new FOB would cost $300.00. When I questioned the pricing they told me use ducktape to attach the FOB to my keychain. I just spend 80K on a truck. What the hell. This FOB shell has been a life saver and a perfect solution to my FOB issues. I would highly recommend this product to others. Also, very easy to assemble. Should have bought it years ago!
Key ring broke off our otherwise-working Ford remote -- and not only does this fob cover provide a new ring, but it also just provides a general level-up for the whole thing. The metal is well-crafted, free of burrs, and offers a solid feel. It is removable to change the battery out when necessary, and even provided a few small foam pads to keep the fob from rattling around inside the cover. Bette than I hoped for
I ordered this because my fob had a broken clip and would split in half from time to time. This was an annoyance especially if I was driving and that happened cause the car would start searching for the key. Once split it half the car didn’t sense it’s presence. Inexpensive key fob fix!
Great purchase! Saved alot of money with buying this cover over replacing the key fob. Fyi, I bought this for a Lincoln MKZ fob and was worried about covering the Lincoln sign up on the back due to the pictures on the site. A little big but works great
