The C-17 Globemaster III is a large transport. It was developed for the United States (USAF) from the 1980s to the early 1990s by McDonnell. The fuselage is made from EPP foam, this special material is very resilient.
At low to high power settings it steers fine, but at a glide power setting the steering kicks in full power on both motors when trying to steer gently in either direction. It then becomes very difficult to land, especially in any breeze at all. Mine eventually flew away because of this issue, even though I had a fair amount of practice trying to compensate for this erratic glide steering problem; otherwise it was delightful.
