The Document of Metal Gear Solid 2 profiles the creation of one of 2001's most highly anticipated PlayStation 2 titles. Two sections comprise the bulk of the DVD's content, one being a set of five playable VR missions akin to those found in the PlayStation release, Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions, while the other, dubbed "The Making of," provides behind-the-scenes information on various facets of the game's production. The latter is made up of 12 categories, namely, Characters, Mechanics, Background, Polygon Demos, Program, Sound, Game Plan, Script, Staff, Chronicle, Special Footage, and Items. <br><br>"The Making of" section provides an in-depth look at character art, 3D models, fully interactive animation demos, sound resources, MGS2 merchandise, interviews, movie clips of the development team, a timeline of the development process, and more. The interface is designed to mimic that found in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and operates in much the same fashion as the inventory system in that game.
