P0171 and P0174, system too lean code. No more!
This is was a great buy. Very surprised. I came across a true diagnostic for e46 P0171 and P0174 codes, and none of them made sense. Bad CCV valve, O2 sensor, Coils or oil cap. If your car does not idle and sputter. Just disconnect the plug for the MAS, and then if the car idles normally then the MAS is the culprit. This a very easy and quick diagnostic for E46 code P0171, P0174. MAS is bad. The good: The throttle feels crispier and I can stay in 3rd gear way longer. My but dyno impression. The little bad: The outside diameter of the housing is a little smaller than the stock one. No big deal, just tighten more the cramp.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Used this for my X5 (e53), and it went in easy, and fixed my Service Engine Soon light immediatly. For ~$20, you can't beat this aftermarket product. 10/10 would buy again. 10/10 worth the purchase even if you aren't sure that your SES light is due to the MAF.
