The slingbox M2 works much better than my Belkin @TV box. The picture quality is much better. My only complaint is that when viewing at home I can only connect one device at a time. The Belkin would let you connect multiple devices. I also have a slight problem when viewing on my tablet in that it will drop my connection. Works fine when viewing with my phone or PC. I'm not sure if it is a problem with the app or my tablet.

This does not support the new Comcast remote and mini cable box. The older version worked to set it up. Since I only use it for 1 channel it works OK. Looks like this type of streaming is going the way of the Dodo bird. Had a problem with cabling at first and had to buy a new Cat5 cable. After that it remains "locked on" Product support is non existant, I kept getting directed to various places who were resellers mostly for DirectTV.

The box was fairly easy to set. I had to try a couple of times to sync with my wifi. Expect a time lag when watching programs and programs stop momentarily every time you access the remote. Overall I am happy that I can watch my recordings and live shows from another state.

I needed to get some type of TV to the computer in front of the treadmill, this worked out perfectly. Setup was easy (hooked it up as per the SlingBox video instructions) and now I can control my Tivo from the computer in the garage! - just what the wife wanted.

Imagine being able to control your television at home from any location, anywhere in the world where you have a broadband connection. The SlingBox M2 is no stranger to my household. I already had one for 3 years now that I watch when I'm away from home or on the go. I love that I can watch my local news and programming from the DFW Metroplex area or other Spectrum Cable content no matter where I am using a laptop, desktop, tablet or my smartphone. My wife saw mine and needed a similar solution. I bought this one for her and installed it on a tv at home that she normally watches her recorded and live shows. Both boxes perform admirably as long as there is a reliable Internet connection at home we are good to go. I highly advise 50 to 100 mbps connecting to a hardwire Ethernet connection as the wireless function in both my M2's just don't want to work. Hardwire just works more seamlessly with no buffering. I was happy to find this M2 because Sling Corp. no longer manufactures any of the Sling boxes. The M2 will work with tv's with component video (Red,Green,Blue, White and Red or and with newer flat screens with those connections. No HDMI, but still HD. They are trying to get people to use the Sling App or sign up with DishNetwork. All Dish receivers have Sling technology built in. That said, if you are trying to find a Sling Box they will be expensive. This one was reasonable even though it sold for twice what retail used to be. I am happy with it and it does perform well.Read full review
