With the Alcatel ONETOUCH® Ride-Fi your vehicles can be like the new ones with WiFi in your vehicle. The unit plugs into a 12V lighter socket in your vehicle, or can also operate with USB 2.0 cable connection. It has no battery so it has to be connected to a power source at all times.
I have not tried it in my motor home but it works great at my house in the country, I am on the Sprint Network.
You can set it up so no one can log in and use the WiFi even if they have your password unless the MAC address on their phone, tablet, or computer is on the approved list.
it connects fine with no software installation, but it get disconnected about every 10 minutes and i have to turn it off and back on and most of the time is the page where i'm looking gets reloaded so if you are doing some longer application it can cause problems or like when you have to wait for a response and not refreshing your page then its a problem
