Grinding noise after a month
OD spec for this bearing is 70.00mm. Old bearing (OE) measured 69.98mm after ~100K miles. This one is 70.08mm. Pressing it into hub was really tough. The bearing rotated easily before installing, but revealed some friction after being pressed in. I believe that both observations are due to the excessive OD. Anyway, the bearing is good enough to justify that my old bearing is bad, and needs replacement - the noise is gone. I am going to buy high quality bearing soon, and replace this one. Update after a month. Grinding noise. I had to replace the bearing to a top-brand one.
