Best hang on back filter on the market period...
I'm a DIY guy who likes to save money, and have healthy clear fish tanks! This design is capable of saving you money in the long term as well as now with a great price. if you have the know how to use filter media (sponge and bio benificial bacteria grabing stone supplied and should be suffient to balance nitrates amonia and nitrites as well as waste. but if you add aqua flo pinky filter media (or in my case i implemented sponge, than a thick floss medium flow then the pink "aqua flo" filter media and last is the provided bio filtration, results are very active fish and crystal clear water very impressed...Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Seachem Tidal 110 Filter; go with the flow!
I have recently purchased this Seachem Tidal 110 Filter for my 55 gallon tank. This filter has a noticeable flow control, and space for a lot of biological, chemical and mechanical filtration. I like the additional skimmer towards the top, and the clip for the aquarium heater is a plus. Great Filter That's Easy to Change Media
I have tried all kinds of filters on my fish tanks over the years. This by far has to be the easiest one to change filter media. It has very good flow and the filter basket holds large amounts of media. All you have to do is put the media in the bags. You can control the flow and it even tells you when it is time to change/clean the filter media. Very quiet and you can adjust the flow and control the intake either through the siphon tube or skimmer or both. So far it seems to be superior even to my Aquaclear filters. A product must truly earn my praise via 'quality' materials and manufacturing, plus it must perform very much above average. This filter, vastly above average! The hang off the back filter has been revolutionized! Think of a 'canister' filter, except, in the hang off the back form. A leveler, a huge 'removable' media basket, telescoping intake, built in skimmer, and SO much more! It's clean, quiet, the best quality you'll find from ANY hang off the back filter in the 'world', period!
