Very limited Use
I split mostly hardwood; ie oak, hickory etc. I don’t have a splitter and was looking for a good wedge. I cut my hardwood to length when green then let it age prior to splitting. Natural cracks form making it a little easier to split. This wedge just bounces out of hardwood and was impossible to get started. A total waste of money. It’s only use would be easy splitting wood to start with. But then why use a wedge; just use a splitting maul.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Worth its weight in scrap.
This thing isn't a redneck splitter, it's an urban splitter that only has the ability to split 10 inchs and smaller for city folk who burn 3 inch pieces in their Walmart patio fire pits. Don't bother trying to split tree trunks and what not with this as it will not go in because it's pushing it for ways. I have this and a conventional 2 way no frills splitter. Not worth buying.
