Praise for TJ Klune's The House in the Cerulean Sea The tea is hot, the scones are fresh and the dead are just passing through. It's a beautiful book.'. The feeling grows as he shares jokes with the resident ghost, manifests embarrassing footwear and notices the stars.
Under the Whispering Door by TJ Klune is a very fantastic story that broaches some almost "taboo" subject matter to many people...Including what happens when we die, the idea that love is love no matter what form or sex it comes to us in and what does it mean to really have a "successful" life... It is wildly imaginative but stays grounded through it remarkably relatable characters. So much so that is should appeal to people who might feel that Fantasy is not for them. Of course I could make some criticisms - little nit-picky things here and there...But, instead I will say - for so young a person, TJ Klune already has a great skill at story-telling and he is someone worth knowing and following in his career as a writer.
