This is a good book which had an opportunity to be a GREAT book. Rees is clearly a skilled writer and the book has a nice flow to it. My main complaint is that most of the content has already been printed in other Who biographies. While we do get a LITTLE more in-depth information about John, I wish Rees would have dug deeper, especially into John’s basses and amplifiers. Maybe this would be considered too specific for some, but I think anyone who pays money for a book about John Entwistle would expect a more thorough review on his gear and technique.
