Try Everything! Starting with this CD!
Zootopia is an absolutely fantastic movie. I had to pick up a copy of the soundtrack. This CD homes twenty-two (22) songs, the first (1st) one being "Try Everything" by Shakira herself. That one is enough reason to pick up this CD. The rest of the songs are very Disney-feeling, and without lyrics. Just as any sound-track would be, they're from scenes within the movie. My only con is that a lot of them sound sadder than they should be without the movie to watch with them, but overall, they are very relaxing to listen to while you work. Oh! And the CD cover its self unfolds to show you a bit more about Zootopia.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A Good but Not Great Soundtrack
While most music scores for film can stand by themselves to be enjoyed, the score for Zootopia is one of the very few that can not. The theme is very weak in all of the passages, making all the pieces seem only like incidental music. It is very unlike the strong theme used by Mr. Giacchino throughout his score to Ratatouille, for example. (The main exception to this was the song, "Try Everything" sung by Shakira.)
