Poor fit
Not like photos at all. Was much longer, and hung very low. Had to cut and weld mount, to raise back of pipe up, and also took a couple of inches off of the collector, and an inch off of the muffler, and even then, it's a couple of inches past the rear axle. Will probably cut and section a bit to raise muffler up like it shows in the photos. Heat shields only cover half of the actual pipes, and leaves much of the cheap tubes showing, which I'll have to paint. Does sound good though, but still waiting for the new tuner. Fast shipping, good vendor, just poor quality pipe.

So disappointing.....
"Proven Performance"? Actually the opposite is true. Absolute garbage! Made 10HP and 10 Nm less on the Dyno than the V&H pipe I replaced with the DB killer installed and 5HP and 5 Nm less without the DB killer. And without the DB killer the pipe was so obnoxiously loud I hated riding it. And the dip in my torque curve at 2750 that I was hoping to improve was twice as bad as it was with the V&H pipe. I expected more from S&S. Might be ok on a stock motor, but add cams with a little overlap and the pipe's shortcomings are pretty severe. And it's so long and heavy that when installed on the rubber mount Sportster it makes the bike shake and shudder terribly. Don't waste your money.
