Silent Love
Gil could not believe that Kai was hired at the Bar H ranch. She was a top mechanic and Talon was in need of a good one. Her experience and credentials were what he wanted. Gil was the foreman and knew as much as Talon how much a good mechanic was needed. However, she hated Gil because of their past relationship. Gil knew he had done her wrong but was at a loss as how to make things right. There was no other woman for him, but he had hurt her severely and it was up to her to get past it. She needed to use Chuck Harper's machine shop to make the parts needed for the machinery she worked on. Using his shop would save the ranch lots of money, but it put her in a precarious position. Kai could not see the danger and took chances. She came very close to dying but Gil saved her. They gradually worked out their differences. This is a good book.
