The Casio WSC was what I'd call an impulse purchase with purpose. In my fly-fishing trips I felt like I did not have an appropriate watch for "dunking", so although I had a digital 50m water resistant watch, I prefer the analog and it was 100m water resistant. I wore it the entire week of fishing and it was proof to me that the Casio's price and performance were exactly suited to my needs. Yes, I got it wet, no, it's not showing any sign of leaking. Casio products have always performed well for me in the past, and I see no reason to pay 5 times the cost for a divers watch that does not perform any better than this one. On top of it, if I lose it to some unforeseen mishap, I can easily afford it's identical replacement. Value and performance. How do you beat that?
