A heavy pedal but if you are using it for recording take note
If using for direct recording highly suggested you use a cabinet emulator. I use the coral cab with it and got some great tones for recording. I've grown attached to using the mesa cab sim and the marshall with this. They sound fantastic. The pedal is fun to play with but the controls can be sensitive. The delay is fun to play with and the chorus sounds fantastic. Not much use for the boost feature. If you are looking at this, you should buy it.
It has the effects that you would most want and they're all chained in the proper order. The effects are good too. It's basically four pedals build into one and uses a single power supply (does not use batteries...power supply is included). Great unit at a great price! Three necessary effects, a noise gate, and a boost - metal essentials. Sounds great running through the effects loop on a Joyo Zombie II and a 20-watt cab. It's a decent size, and easy to use especially if you're already familiar with basic guitar effects pedals. Need Chug? , Got Chug!
I use an Bugera G5 tube amp and it does every type of music from 1930 Jazzy Bluesy Surf Country Blugrass to 1970s rock to 1990s Grung very well but not chuggy Metal or Djent. This pedal get it with in the range of chug you need. Still tubey but almost enough chug. ALMOST! Good pedal for the price, but not gig-worthy

I was skeptical because of the price and after 20 years of playing I'd never heard of them. The distortion is a bit thin but get a quality amp and use that distortion is the best option ive always felt. The other effects work fantastic very responsive nobs durable housing. I recommend using this in the effects loop only. I hooked it up front of amp first and its so so. Effects loop it's great.
