Milwaukee's Top Ergonomics
My tools are either Dewalt, Makita or Milwaukee. I am therefore able to compare this Milwaukee 12v cordless jigsaw against the Dewalt 18v cordless jigsaw. The obvious difference is the size, of course, plus the holding position. I have to say this Milwaukee jigsaw has a big edge in terms of ergonomics, it sits beautifully in the hand. The balance, with the lower hand position, is far better with regard to controlling the blade during a cut. I did go to the extra expense of buying a 3Ah compact battery to improve run time and also have a couple of 6Ah's available should the need arise. Super easy blade change, just like the Dewalt, using a single movement lever. In the tight radius cuts achievable, it's the Milwaukee getting the gold star from me, subject to selecting the right blade, of course. On a final, rather flippant, note, the Milwaukee red/black livery takes the chequered flag ahead of the yellow/black of Dewalt LOL.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

The angle lock !!
Once I started using the jig saw I noticed right away the lock for the angle positions gets loose. So you have to cut with two hands on the jigsaw, one hand to hold the lock in place so it doesn’t get loose and change angles on you and the other hand on the handle 🤦🏽♂️Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice jigsaw
Very good jigsaw. Mitre angles lock in place very well. 0 deg locks in perfect. Saw is light and very easy to use. The plastic pointer in the front of the blade is easy to remove if it’s in the way. Saw is accurate and handles very well. The only reason this saw won’t lock at 0 deg is due not being locked properly. The sliding lever is for other angles including 0 deg, except in this setting the “Shoe” has to be locked in place by sliding forward, then it’s 100% locked.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Cool little saw
I’m not a contractor or anything special just a disabled veteran with a lot of time on my hands to do projects. This jigsaw is easy to use feels nice and is easy to control.
