I'm a newbie to the harp world. The holder was priced right for a beginner such as myself. Function remains to be seen. I have noticed that the wingnuts need to be torqued extremely tight to prevent the vertical supports from sliding away from me. Not sure if it's my technique or a design limitation? However, I have no complaints and I am confident with a little adjustment and some experience, it will work just fine.

This version of the product is not made for singers. I have been using the Hohner harp holder for 25+ years. This new version sits nearly 3" higher than the standard holder, and has the harp completely in the way of the vocal mic when time to sing. I am baffled as to why Hohner would think that this is any type of product improvement. I suppose that it would be just fine for a guitar or piano player who doesn't sing. But if you are a singer, stick to the Hohner standard version of this product. Also, this model holder pulled out some of my hair twice when I was making comparison between it & my old ones. This purchase was a total waste of money for me...

This holder works fine for my limited skill level. However, even if you tighten the nuts as far as they'll go, they don't lock into place, so if you need to be able to apply significant pressure to your harp without it moving, you might want to try a more expensive one.
