Aggressive Modification, I love it!
This tuner offers 87 and 91 octane tuning. So far I've just used the 87 setting, and I can only imagine what the 91 will provide in terms of more power output from the HEMI motor. With the 87 octane, I set the rev limiter to 6300rpm, the shifts 1-2 and 2-3 to 6000rpm. Speed limiter upped to 135, and with new tires on the 17inch rims the tire diameter is 30.5. This programmer takes just about 10 minutes to read/record the stock settings, and upload your modifications. In a 2005 Ram 1500 5.7L with 3.55 ratio gears, flowmasters super 40 dual exhaust, and K&N intake, this truck turns into an animal. Throttle response is near-instant, first gear will reach 50mph before shifting at 6000rpm, and won't leave first gear until you're over 20mph. My 0-60 time in roughly 40 degrees was 6.4 seconds (as a quadcab with a RNL tonneau cover and large tool kit full of weight in the bed). My ram legitimately feels like it's been woken up and is sincerely aggravated. Been driving with this tuner mod for over two months, and absolutely no issues whatsoever. The check-engine-light code reader is a handy addition, it let me know the P0456 code for the gas cap. Eventually, I'll pull the trigger and transition into the 91 octane setting; I'm excited to see what more this will pull out of the HEMI.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
