I bought the Frontloader bike racks to use with my Yakima outpost HD rack. For the money and ease of use they are a great product!! Highly recommend

I've been using Yakima and Thule racks for about 4 decades to carry bicycles, so I think I've seen quite a few different approaches to this task. The Yakima FrontLoader is somewhat below average in terms of function based on my experience. The rear clamp really doesn't fit the aero crossbars on our 2017 Subaru Crosstrek very well at all. The rear clamp is adjustable, but one position is too loose, and the next adjustment is too tight. It sort of works, but it's not working optimally. Secondly, the small-ish knob that tightens the small hoop to hold the front wheel is awkward as hell to tighten. It did, however, seem to hold the bike securely once everything was in place. Also, the overall quality was reasonable.

Light weight and strong I have two and loaded both bikes on my F150 and went on a 4 hour trip mixed two lane highway and city streets and freeway at times 75mph and the bikes didn’t move more than a little wiggle the frontloader doesn’t make any paint contact to the bike and can be equipped with the sks locks to match my key for the crossbars

Easy to install and uninstall. Integrated bike lock. Holds most bikes. Doesn’t touch frame. Really awesome.
