I've used Quicken since the 1990s. I like this new version of Qkn as much as any other iteration of the product. I only keep my checkbook and cash expenditures on it. Don't down load or track stocks. So I probably have more product than I need. Works great for me.

Quicken 2017 is a poor upgrade from Quicken 2013. The 2013 was working fine but I decided to get the latest as I have been using Quicken for 10+ years and he upgrades were always "better". Not this time, it operated about the same as 2013 but the graphics were not as defined - pale and washed out and it did not expand when minimized for another program screen. Also it did not give access to the bottom tool bar when it was full screen. Very simple stuff and one would have thought the Quicken engineers would have noticed these problems. Check for updates to fix but none available. Would suggest staying with older versions until Quicken gets fixes

My backup data file worked perfectly from my old version (2016), which I had in a flash drive as well as an external drive I keep attached to my desktop.
