Fitbit sums it up!
The Fitbit Charge II HR is everything you need for basic health monitoring. This is my second one and it monitors my physical activity, my sleep, heat rate and calories burned. It pairs (syncs) with my phone for history and week long, month long comparison, etc. I am 68 years old and not a social media, technically savvy person and this is easy for me to use. I wouldn't buy another one...wasted my money
The product wouldn't communicate with the app through syncing when the battery got to medium. So it had to be charged every 2 or 3 days. When charging it didn't hold the info it didn't sync so you lost a lot of information. To be honest I've ordered another kind and will be stopping the use of this one. Oh and it's hard to get it on and off because of a tooth type structure in the band which is hard to deal with especially since it's not waterproof and has to come off daily for showers plus the frequent charging. Great fitness band
Fun to use and is quite accurate. Checked it against the doctors blood pressure/heart rate machine and the two were right on, both showed the same heart rate. Also it inspires me to walk more as it tracks my steps. It also shows the time as a watch and also a stopwatch (helps keep time at a parking meter). I also like the feature of sleep tracking and wake up alarms. And a very cool thing is that you can change the bands. You can have a different color or style for each day with just a snap to lock it on. Tracks Fitness and Works With MyFitnessPal
I wanted a fitness tracking device that would work with MyFitnessPal that I also use. The apps work seamlessly. I'm now able to track my exercises and calories burned and have them go into MFP immediately. My foods are still tracked in MFP and that information "automagically" appears in the FitBit app. I'm still learning lots about how to track different exercises and what the sleep stats mean but the Charge 2 HR seems to do exactly what I need.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great for tracking heartbeat rate.
I had purchased a less expensive activity tracker for my wife. We primarily wanted one that would track her heart rate as sometimes she has rapid heartbeat. Love these firbits. The charge 2 is awesome. I like that I can see who's calling me and read texts on it. The HR is accurate. The gps is pretty close to what my GPS clocks. I like the different clockface options. I like seeing how many calories I've burned after a workout. I was surprised how much I used the sleep tracker. Fitbit Charge 2: A step UP!
The Fitbit Charge 2 HR is a vast improvement over the original Charge. The addition of the HR is great, but also the wrist band is replaceable, and much more secure than the original. Has a great screen and easy to read. When texts come in I can quickly see who it is from and what it is about.
