Works very well. Fits perfectly.
I'm very pleased with this product. It fits the gun perfectly and functions exactly as advertised. It even works in my Galco IWB holster, but I haven't needed a holster since I installed these grips. Interestingly, the waistband clip positions my finger perfectly on the trigger and makes the grip "feel" like a larger, more hand filling grip. Best new innovation on an old theme in a long time.
I have used the Barami hip grip combined with a Tyler "T" grip for the past 40 years. The DeSantis grip is light years ahead of my old system; it offers a bigger grip area as well as checkering to give positive control. An easy way to make a J frame disappear inside the waistband.
I removed a nice performance center wooden grip to install this. It will disappear if placed behind the hip bone with the grip pointing almost straight up. This is real handy for summer carry with just a t shirt. I wish they made one for the Ruger LCR. While researching and reading reviews on these I came across a review complaining about it not being made out of rubber. You do not want this made out of rubber for carry because it will cause your shirt to stick to it. Desantis makes fine products. The Clip Grip is another winner. It fits the gun up snug against the body and with so little showing above the waistband that it almost disappears. The one gripe is that it's hard and pretty slick. I chose to purchase Traction Grips for my J frame to apply over the Clip Grip.
