Bought this set for my 1994 Jeep yj. 231j transfer case The bearing that the planetary gear spins on in this set is only half the thickness of the original. This allows the planetary set to move in such a way that when accelerating the drive gear can slip producing a loud noise of gears slipping over each other . I had to remove the transfer case for a second time to discover the issue. Don’t buy this set for a 231 j transfer case

Everything was correct, except the input shaft bearing, it was not thick enough.I had to purchase the correct bear, and it costed me an extra $40.00.

Satisfied with this kit. I would have been more satisfied if it had included the drive sprocket pin bearings (that would have been 5 stars).
