Really nice aftermarket crank
The crank kit is great. For the price, Hot Rods did a great job. Everything fit and lined up perfectly. The Vertex gaskets and seals that came with the kit were as good as any other aftermarket gasket I've used. Match up all of your seals before you get started on your rebuild and see what you are missing. I had to order the seal for the reverse shaft as it was not included in the kit. Keep in mind that this kit will also work on the earlier ('97-01) model Honda Recon, BUT those models use a wider cam chain and wider sprocket on the crank and cam. So if you want to put this crank kit in a 97-01 model you will need to change the camshaft and cam chain to the '02+ style to match.
