Only need the mounting brackets
I have yet to have a skid plate wear out. The mounting brackets break before that ever happens. I'm not sure if I would ever buy one of these KFI plows again just because of this poor design.

OPEN TRAIL 105170 PLOW SKID KIT (PAIR) OPEN TRAIL 105170 PLOW SKID KIT
Well built and quite rugged. I modified them slightly to use on a Craftsman 48" blade mounted on a 52" Craftsman mower. Skid pads are 3" in diameter witch is a tad small. Wish they were 4-5" but work OK on a hard packed gravel drive. Shaft is 5/8" diameter and mounting brackets are approx. 1/4" thick. Quick release skid pads work great compared to the bolt on factory skids that came with the plow blade.
