Destroyed my pump, very poor quality imported parts
The shaft is a chrome coated, un-hardened steel shaft with pitting and impurities in it. I bought two of these kits and within hours of use the bearings in one developed a very bad whine and in the other pump the shaft deformed, destroyed the bearings and ruined the entire pump housing. These were all installed with the proper sea doo tools, a bearing press and properly sealed and lubricated. These are very poor quality parts that are not heat treated properly and will come apart and destroy your pump. Don't risk it and buy something of better quality from a reputable website that rebuilds these pumps. They sell the parts that they use.
