Do not confuse these sockets with the larger T10 194 wedge socket which fits a 1/2" hole. Looking at picture #2, you are buying the smaller socket to the right. The bulb size is shown for reference only.
dash cluster twist lock socket for # 74 bulb- fit my 1995 Chevy k1500 pick up
I bought this as a replacement for the one I ruined by trying to change the bulb and breaking the electrical tab. This fits the small #74 (this is not for the 194 bigger bulb)of the dashboard in my 1995 Chevy k1500 pickup. As soon as they got here I put a halogen bulb in then they installed the new twist lock socket in my high beam slot and was the right fit for replacing halogen bulbs (I did not replace my bulbs with led lights, just halogen like the one I took out) all is good and now I can tell when my hight beams are on with the indicator light on the dash cluster.
Tighter than the ones that have been in the cluster for 17 years.
2002 Forester. They are tight. You may need to use a small pair of pliers to install. Needed just a little more force than I could generate with my fingers. Used #74 bulbs.
