BlackBerry classic smartphone. Has some chips around the charging port but overall in very good condition. The back of it has kind of turned sticky though. It turns on and appears to be reset but for whatever reason it won’t connect to my WiFi so I can’t get through setup. Purchase comes with the cell phone only no charger or accessories

Almost a clear winner...but not quite.

Better than most phones in texting capabilities and compact size. The Blackberry Classic Q20 is a 4G phone, exceedingly rare in the Blackberry lineup. It's built like a Sherman tank but not nearly the strongest signal reception phone in fringe areas and hilly terrain. I really like the phone and I was delighted by how "nearly new" the one that I bought was when it arrived. Took AT&T several days to get my number ported over to them and to get me activated but now working.

    Has a keyboard!

I bought this phone because it was the only brand offering both 4G and a keyboard. There were dozens of lovely 3G phones with keyboards... AT&T is forcing me to 4G, and does not offer ANY phone models that are not 5G smartphones except for one flip phone with no keyboard. I have vision problems and long fingernails and virtual keyboards on a screen drive me to distraction! This Blackberry is doing ok so far, as long as I only call and text, but it keeps insisting I set up other functions I never wanted and won't use. The user manual is over 300 pages only on line, so is not helpful at all. There are thousands of us who don't want all of those bells and whistles, only Jitterbug makes a simple phone, and Jitterbug won't work on AT&T!

  • Take the good with the bad

As a loyal BB user since the very first model, I have very mixed feelings. The Classic is by far the best device since the Bold. I like the device itself very much. It's leagues better than the Z/Q10 (I haven't used the Passport or Priv). The problem is the new desktop software, BB Link. It's absolutely horrible. I rely on Microsoft Outlook for my contacts and calendar. Unlike the BlackBerry Desktop Software, which was fast and seamless when syncing with Outlook, BB Link can literally take an hour or more to sync the contacts. Also, the file sharing features of Link are infuriatingly limited and rigid. It's simply unacceptable for a businessperson to have such a plodding, inferior interface with his/her PC. The Apple and Andriod interfaces are worlds ahead. Indeed, I'm considering giving up the BlackBerry for good as a result of this problem.

  • Beautiful phone in great condition

Very happy with it. Perfect condition. Looks new. Great size for me. Gets the job done. The battery lasts the day but needs to be charged every night.

  • Works Great for the price, but is getting dated.

I personally love the phone. The battery lasts for a good while. ive never had it die on me. it works well with my alpine bluetooth radio on voice calls (same for my old bold 9930). unlike my old samsung s7. It auto plays random or what ever I'm listening to recently. really well made and texting is wonderful. Only drawback would be the web browser is basically useless, wish it had opera mini like the bold 9930. oh well. would buy again or buy the keyone when the price drops to around a hundred.

  • Great for business

Great battery life, great speaker, great screen size. I wish I had access to more apps, but this device is great for getting business done.

  • Item looks and works flowlessly

The item arrived in nearly new mint condition as described. No scuffs, dents or scratches. So far, everything works well. It was easy to set up to my liking. It has been over 24hrs since I charged the phone last and still have 46% battery life left with moderate use including sms/mms, email, browsing and phone calls. No games here... This is a straight up business phone and for me switching from Android to this one was not a big deal. There are some apps which I will have to find alternatives thought. But this is not seller's problem. One thing I did not like was that the phone came with cheap charger which was not the original one. Now I will have to spend another $18 to buy one from Blackberry. Guess won't be a big deal, but it was a bit of disappointment. Seller's communication was great and prompt. My overall experience is 5*****

  • Great performance and reliabilty

It cannot be even compared with Android phones: very good performance, long battery life, never hangs. Very flexible settings and notifications. Good camera with very smart exposure settings makes great pictures and videos. Although it's running QNX-based operating system, most Android applications can be installed and used.

  • Sad reality

I really love the hardware and bb10 experience as far as gestures, keyboard, track pad and the over former factor/nestaglia. The sad reality is the app support is really falling off or didn't even exist for certain things. Because of a worn out battery (had to charge one extra time per day) and lack of supported apps (meaning not having to do all kinds of work arounds) I had to ditch this phone and return to my previous device. Looking forward to their new hardware running Android. ;)

  • Best option if you want a keyboard

Clearly a high quality product, even if a bit heavy, large and dated. Too bad some apps are not supported anymore (ex. Whatsapp), but with some twicking it is still possible to make them work. I am not a fan of the BB operating system, but it works reasonably well. At the price I paid ($ 50 for a well refurbished unlocked unit) it is a steal.
