saves a lot of blisters (as in cutting with my Wiss shears)

I needed it to cut expanded metal mesh for a stucco job. It cut well and saved a lot of hand blisters and cuts. A little light oil on the cutting head is a good idea. My only negative is that since it cuts out a strip it leaves a lot of little pieces to clean up when cutting mesh. Since it's a Milwaukee I'm pretty sure I can resale it when I'm done with the other half of my stucco job!

Reset your tooling for proper fit.

This is a sloppy copy of the electric Milwaukee sheet metal shear replacement blade set. During install, the holes do not align with the preset holes in the cutter head, the spacers/bushings for the pieces are too short and when you tighten the clamp screws it binds the assembly and stalls the drive motor or creates a lot of heat at the pivot points. Since the material is hardened, there is no way outside of EDM'ing the holes in the correct location.

  • Milwaukee cutter blades

D does not fit the cutter and once I got it to fit it would like cut the material gauge the cutter was designed for. Had to grind off the side blades to get them to even fit in the device

  • Poor Craftsmanship

They blades look pretty good, the holes are off just enough that the screws will not fit through to install them. Never was able to install to use them.

  • Great Tool

I bought three of these Milwaukee shears there that good, gave one to my son for xmas and kept the other two for my self. These make cutting sheet metal so fast wish I had bought them years ago, better late than never. These are not to heavy but I've worked with steel over 45yrs. so I'm use to maneuvering hand tools. a lot easier than the tin snips to use.
