Works Great (Read for Win 10 users)
The software that comes with this device does not work, it actually crashed my computer. You have to go to fresco logic and download the latest driver v2.0.33100.0 for FL2000. You also have to use chrome or internet explorer to download the .exe file not firefox. This will save you hours of your time.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Problem with display on monitor
I'm not sure how to rate this product because no matter what settings I use the display on my monitor continually is too large for my 19" monitor. I have a new HP laptop I just purchased about two months ago. I plug in the adapter attempt to reset the resolution settings but irregardless of which one I select the display on my older monitor is too large for the screen. So, I am not sure if it's an adapter or monitor issue. I am definitely not sure how to correct the problem. Until I can correc the issue I won't blame the adapter.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

"software didn't work, blinking/flashing screen!"
The software it comes with did not work properly, had to search online for the download online, almost made my system crash, did weird things to my OS., caused my connected monitor to blink constantly! After receiving it I found there are several generational of USB: I need the 2.0 and wish there had been an advisory in the seller's posting re the need to know that non compatibility is an issue. Not a good adapter.
I work for an IT company and I was looking to add another monitor to the laptop I use for work. The adapter works, however the resolution is not correct. Changed the settings in windows, adjusted the settings on the monitor and no luck. Tried about 5 different monitors and all the same problem.
