    Good but not perfect

    I developed a short in my headlight wiring that melted the insulation off of the headlight switch pigtail. I ordered this one because it was reasonably priced and I was OK with it being used. When it arrived, I compared it with my old one and noted that one of the retaining clips was snapped off. I was able to disassemble both switches and as the saying goes, take 2 bad and make 1 good. I am still trying to locate the damaged wiring so I can't say how well this switch will work. Using an ohm meter, the switch seems to be doing what it is supposed to.
