So this game was talked about when it released but I aways check things out after to see if they are really good. All I can say is that this game was engrossing. I thought I wouldn't like a game that had high school in it, but it's amazingly in depth. Combat is turn based but it allows for a multitude of ways to mix and combine the skills of your party. The boss fights are also creative. The story is really interesting. You live during the day as a high schooler. Who knew school would be this fun. It certainly wasn't when I was in high school. The story beads for the other portion of the game are also intriguing and not predictable. I would recommend this to anyone who likes JRPG's and doesn't mind dropping 100 hours easily to not just complete, but to experience the world created in Persona 5.Read full review

I had never played a game in this series before but i must say, I am impressed. So much to do it’s like a time management systems, dating sim, and a grog with monster allies in one. It seems like a like and while it is, it does it in such a way that it keeps the just one more day mentality to keep you hooked. Also please note, this game is a long, long game, 80 hours on my first play through. And you can get a game over even late in the game that makes you restart if your not careful. Make some additional saves as you move forward just in case . 9/10 score from me

The day one steelbook case is sleek and sexy and made me overjoyed to put the disc into my ps4. First let me start with the first thing that will surprise, the art style. This game just screams anime. The game is basically half life sim and classic JRPG turn based combat. Both components are fleshed extremely fleshed out. The only warnings I would give is that 1. This game starts slow and 2. This game demands your time(60-100 hours of game). If you just play video-games 30min to an hour on weekends then I wouldn’t recommend it.

This is part jrpg, part monster catcher, part life simulator. It feels like the Tokyo version of dragon age: inquisition in a lot of ways, if you could catch demons in inquisition. Also in length. I've been playing for 12 hours and just beat the first dungeon. Couldn't be happier. I tend to lose interest in games pretty quickly, but this game has been even better than expected.

Pretty nice story and characters. It gives you some things to think about relative to yourself/the world as a whole. That's all I ask for from a game: a couple new thoughts to digest. Atlas did a good job. The reception is well deserved. They put a lot of work into this game. Rather, it's a story in game form.
