Looks retro; works fine.
The meter is very readable, regardless of its small size. It reads the same as the ammeter in the DC supply I use for testing. This meter will be part of the "no external power required" metering of my solar power system. Although I have digital volt/amp/watt/power metering capability, that requires power which might be better used for other things. An analog ammeter requires no power for its operation which makes it an excellent choice for solar power monitoring. .
