Item was very well packaged to protect it: on bar it had shrink wrap and bubble wrap over that w plastic cover then a cardboard box...NICE,. It is very pretty looking not that I will see it much under my hood but it did firm up the front end on my higher mileage car. I did have to grind of a ground bolt and relocate it as the hole provided for it was off a but, but otherwise was easy install. The customer support was good as I asked a few questions and they got right back to me, so that was nice too. Seems very well made and is lightweight yet sturdy when installed. Significant improvement on a Pontiac G6 Convertible
I purchased this for my Pontiac G6 Convertible and was pleasantly surprised by how much difference it made to the stiffness when cornering. Without the strut tower brace there is a fair bet of roll through the corners on the convertible and that simply disappears once this was installed. It now turns like it is on rails. More of an improvement than I expected. It was a little tricky to install on my G6. There is a ground point on the drivers strut tower that does make it hard to fit, even though there is a hole cut in about the right place. I found I had to raise the car a little to allow the strut to drop down so the threads were just poking through to get it lined up. Once that was done I could tap the tower ring into place and lower the car to push the strut top back into place.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Easy way to give your car more control
I never expected what a difference this strut tower brace would make, but I am impressed! Very easy to install and very effective. I recently had a cracked windshield and after the new glass was installed I noticed the car seemed more solid. Tightened up the front end a bit. Can take turns slightly faster. I replaced my struts/shocks (because they were bad) at the same time I put the bar on and it was a big difference. Recommend for any 05-10 G6, 08-12 Malibu, 06-10 Aura owner. Fits over any engine. I have an 08 G6 GT 3.5 vvt.
