Easy Setup
TV Has a single optical output but I can't play the optical output and the TV speakers at the same time, just one or the other. I needed to send a feed to my wireless headphones and to some speakers so others could listen to the TV programing. I am deaf in one ear and need the headphones while others are in the room and I don't have to blast the sound. I had to get an optical splitter and a DAC to run an analog line to the headphones and used another output to the Polk Magnifi. The Magnifi met or exceeded all my expectations. The sound it excellent, you can adjust for Movies, Sports or Music. There is also a Voice Enhancement mode that really brings out the voices in TV shows and movies. The wireless Subwoofer sounds good for it's 6" size and was paired to the sound bar out of the box. Setup was easy and straight forward. Even though this is factory refurbished the sound was immaculate, and as with all things Polk is well built. Subwoofer has low rumbling sound coming out of it when not in use. Had to unplug for voice and news programs. Unable to control lip sync with video.

Great things do come in small packages
I've had the full-size MagniFi Soundbar on my large, living room TV for 3 years now and really enjoy it. When Ordering the Magnifi Mini, I was prepared for smaller sound and maybe fewer features. To my surprise it sounds great and actually has more, advanced features than my full size MagniFi. Being so small, the soundstage is definitely smaller, but the clarity and volume are up to par. I had bee looking for a small soundbar to use in a bedroom for awhile and was a little overwhelmed with the choices that were out there. Great sound for a small unit.
We purchased this unit to put out on our deck to enjoy music while relaxing, swimming, and entertaining. This mini unit has great sound in a small package. Best value home theater
bought second hand with some wear signs. works well, not sure the AC adapter is original (pretty sure its not) - might need to find better one as it is only 35W output. Awesome small system!
Really impressed with this system. I typically don't believe the hype nor leave my own reviews but it's warranted here. The Polk Magnifi Mini is wonderful. It has full, broad sound and surprisingly deep bass. Stereo sources sound very good, with clear speech and sound stage. When a Dolby Digital source is enabled, it really comes alive. My wife even remarked on it and she's they type who couldn't care less about tech. The fact it has the ability to learn IR signals from your TV remote is another plus.
