If you're looking for a portable, lightweight laptop that performs well, this is the device to get! It runs Chrome OS, and although it is a light OS, it performs admirably when posed with simple tasks like web-browsing, word processing or even preparing a slideshow. Even though it can't run complex or intensive programs, it is great for the times when you simply need a quick, portable laptop that you can handle your daily tasks on. And best of all, the price is amazing for such a great little machine.

I wish is would of gotten here on time. It came a week and haft late. Also I was a little nervous when I open the box co. the computer was just in a box with no bubble wrap to keep it safe. Other the that it same to be working fine so far. I will update if something happens.

If you are looking for a Chromebook with the intent of using it "off-label", this is a very good option. Broadwell machines like the C740 are also good choices, and if you want to make a Hackintosh you need the Core i3 version of the C720 rather than the Celeron, but even the Celeron runs Windows 10 quite capably. You do want the 4GB of RAM because it's soldered on (not expandable), and you will want something bigger than the 16GB SSD for Windows, although it is JUST possible to make it fit, but it accepts a standard M.2 2242 drive unlike Chromebooks using permanent eMMC modules. I'm dual-booting Windows 10 and GalliumOS (a Chromebook-specific Linux distro) on mine, and it has totally replaced my much larger/heavier/hotter/louder "real laptop". This does require removing a screw (you have to take off the back to upgrade the SSD anyhow) and flashing the firmware, but once this is done you have a fully capable laptop that can run many things other than ChromeOS. Battery life running Windows with the backlight on full (I won't let it dim just to save battery) still exceeds three hours. If you use more conservative power management, you can certainly do better.Read full review

Was tired of constantly searching for the best deal and right one that when I woke up one morning I grabbed my phone and just bought what was on my screen and was believing it was a touchscreen bad wrist can't do key pad n don't care for how platform runs which was not expected since my only form of laptop since 2000 is Android phone So Chromebook claims that it's just like as your phone it's not My kid likes it though

It's a great little laptop. The battery is excellent and there were no cracks or broken pieces, just little scratches here and there. The only issue I have is I dislike how I cannot use Google Play for any of my apps. I'm not used to a laptop like this so it's a little frustrating. Other than that I love it.

I absolutely love my Acer Chromebook and can't believe what a good deal it was..idk why some people don't recommend Chromebooks but I guess bc it supposedly lacks all features of a reg laptop but I'm not missing out bc of just using it for browsing and some apps..great deal. Very lightweight easy to use great battery life and I may just buy the same one for a present for my nefew

Always a little hesitant buying used electronics, but this pleasantly surprised me. Seller clearly puts time into what he sells. Packed very safely with bubble wrap and even a screen protector, and it's used. Would buy from him again for sure

It's a Chromebook, by no means will this outperform a gaming computer or anything. But for watching YouTube, editing documents and slideshows, web browsing, music listening, playing flash games, or taking notes, you really can't beat this. It's fast, especially for its age. It has a pretty good design, although it has some scuffs and scratches since it's used. It's light and small, you can take it anywhere. It has surprising battery life, it lasts a very pleasing amount of time. It's a versatile machine and I'd recommend it to just about anyone who needs a cheap computer for basic tasks. Absolutely no complaints here.

I am very pleased with my laptop. It is light and easier to carry around than my other laptop. Very convenient and portable. I plan to get up to two more for my ten year old twins.
