Viton Gasket Liner is not glued to the cap and can be removed. The Cap functions as a closed cap only to be used by itself, as it does not support or work when hiding the spout in the can, it's simply not deep enough.

These replacement gas storage CAPs are better suited than OEM
The product is what I was looking for in order to replace the caps which have cracked on my original (Five) 5 gallon molded polypropylene gasoline temp storage and transport tanks. These new caps are made of a higher quality plastic than the original gas caps I had. They fit perfectly well. They have a nice nylon gasket inside which seals to prevent any leakage which the original caps did not have. There was some spillage with the original caps, these caps are significantly better than the originals.
